Good morning all,
We need the community's solidarity! As you probably already know, Healthy Housing is hard at work to build an affordable housing infrastructure in the heart of Gracefield. After several years of work, the project is in its final stretch to obtain financing for construction. In order to prove the need to the Société d'habitation du Québec, “Logement en santé” is requesting our help to obtain a list of tenants interested in the project. These signatures are essential for obtaining funding.
The project counts 26 dwellings (with 1 and 2 bedrooms), several of which will be adapted for people with reduced mobility. Housing targets people aged 45 and over, given that few housing units are available for this clientele and it is this clientele that receives the fewest government transfers (family allowances, pensions, etc.).
Do you know people who might be interested? Here's how to do it: •

REVEALING THE KAZABAZUA TRAIN STATION MODEL
Thanks to the generous gift of Mr. Dale Walker, craftsman and former resident of the area, now citizen of Alberta, the municipality unveiled his model of the kazabazua train station. A work of an astonishing resemblance. Mr Walker sold his farm many years ago and moved to Alberta but did not forget its native area. In addition to having made the 5 days trip to bring his marvelous gift. Mr. Walker was able to meet again with old friends and the local population to exchange memories.
Several municipal representative and citizens came to the unveiling to meet with Mister Walker and to admire his work.
The model will be exposed at the Heritage room of the library of kazabazua
Merci Mr. Walker!!!
